A long weekend hiking

After some days of relaxing in the sun, recovering from a minor medical procedure, it was time to hike on El Camino de Santiago the final leg of the trail to Santiago de Compostella. 

Our annual hike with our best friends Vidar & Gunilla Gundersen is for the moment concentrating on Spain and Portugal, after some years of walking in Italy and doing the West Highland Way in Scotland.

What a marvellous feeling to enter the city of Santiago de Compostela end to arrive at the magnificant and impressive dome. 

In Porto we visited the cellars of Sandemans for some Port Wine tasting.

The Karlsson-Gundersen-hike is always a highlight of the year, so also this year. Some beautiful days in Santiago and Porto this time.
