The Rolling Stone’ 500 GOAT songs

For the first time in 17 years, the music magazine Rolling Stone has updated its list “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time”. Top 20 begins with Swedish popsinger Robyn’s biggest hit.

The list is produced through a vote where selected critics, industry people and musicians can vote. Together they came to the conclusion that Aretha Franklin’s Respect is the world’s best song (respect). It’s followed by Public Enemy’s Fight the Power and Sam Cook’s A Change Is Gonna Come. Bob Dylan was on top on the previous edition of this legendary lust with his Like A Rolling Stone, now on place 4.

Two Swedish songs make it onto the list: Abbas Dancing Queen in place 286 and Robyn’s Dancing On My Own in place 20!
