Great dinner with UPU colleagues tonight.
We had Spanish food & watched Portugal vs. Uruguay in the World Cup.
day I participated in an excellent strategic Thought-Leadership meeting in Rabat invited by Universial Postal Union (UPU) & Morocco Post – also including Morocco Customs, other important players & the private sector.
The topic to discuss being Postal Prosperity Zones. It was a really productive, creative & positive meeting with excellent organization (by Morocco Post) – promising a lot for the future.
In the first ten months of this year, 275 500 irregular entries were detected at the external borders of the European Union, according to preliminary calculations by Frontex analysts. This represents an increase of 73% compared with the same period of last year and is the highest since 2016.
