This week my club and team Malmö FF won the Swedish Football League. It was our 24th league title, and our forth title in the last five years.

With my son at the home game that gave us the title 10 points ahead with only two games to go

I love my club. i was only four years old when I saw our team at the stadium the first time. It has been the club in my heart since then.

We are the champions!

One week to go! Come to stand G7 – that is where the magic happens!

The WCO Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) Europe is celebrating 13 full years and the office has come a long way since day one.

I was there from the start and am immensively proud of having taken the decision to grant the ROCB to Baku when serving as Director lf the WCO! And for being there when we put the shovel in the ground as well as for the opening. Congratulations to all that made this a success happen.

We have seen countless projects, shared many ideas and best practices, and grew into a strong and dynamic team with all the incredible memories we created together and the incredible future that awaits us.

But the occasion is also favourable to thank once again the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan which, many years before the date of foundation of ROCB Europe, launched to the WCO the proposal to have it in Baku: the ideal location between Western and Eastern Europe, able to blend expectations and programmes, skills and perspectives from across the region.

Therefore, big thanks to the SCC for all the efforts made since that time – which has never stopped doing – for the ROCB Europe, in the interest of the Europe Region itself, of WCO and all colleagues in the customs administrations of the region and beyond.

On this happy anniversary, the ROCB management and team posted a message to thank all colleagues in the region and at WCO headquarters for their valuable contribution to our journey through their availability, contributions and significant involvement.

Finally, the ROCB reaffirm to colleagues the commitment and the willingness to be more and more on the scene of initiatives, innovations and useful results, shared in our common interest, to contribute to the development of modern and efficient customs administrations.
