European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said yesterday that the European Union was not willing to renegotiate the withdrawal deal struck with the British government, but rejected three times by Britain’s parliament.

A number of the candidates to succeed Theresa May as British prime minister have said they believe the bloc should reopen negotiations.

“I will have a short meeting with Theresa May, but I was crystal clear. There will be no renegotiation,” Juncker said before a meeting of EU leaders in Brussels.

Yesterday our partner The Institute of Export and International Trade (IoE) celebrated the annual graduation ceremony for this years’ students at Mansion House in London.

Great event and wonderful to participate with a Key Note Speech.

It is always great to see new professionals entering our field and also to see graduates develop with education. As a Doctor of Education (honoris causa) it warms myvheart and soul.

The Mansion House in Walbrook London is truly a wonderful and beautiful place.

IoE is doing a remarkable job and I recommend their programmes to everybody working in our field.

Yesterday I spent a few hours in my old home town Brussels for meetings.

Im the evening I had a brilliant working dinner with one of my best friends & colleagues in the global village we call home, Dr. Alan Bersin. Two border crusaders fighting to make the world a better place. As always, when we meet, loads of new ideas on future plans for pioneer projects, strategic initiatives and academic articles. Plus the type of great time you only get when friends are catching up.

After some good meetings, and another night with only a few hours of sleep, it is time to get up in the air again. There is a world to save out there.

On to new adventures, new meetings, a graduation ceremony and an annuncement/project launch of an inititiative that we are very proud of. You want to know what it is? Watch out….
