A quarter of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s seaborne freight must be transported aboard green-fuelled ships in 2030, and carbon emissions shall also be halved against 2020 levels.

So shows Maersk’s green transformation plans, presented on Tuesday during the shipping major’s first ESG day.

”The risk of doing nothing and being left behind is not one that we are going to run,” said Maersk Chief Executive Søren Skou during the presentation.
