”No change to the government’s position. The transition period will end on December 31”

Despite Mr Barnier stated openness to a two-year extension, the Prime Minister’s spokesman has stated the Government’s position has not changed. The spokesman said: “No change to the government’s position. The transition period will end on December 31.”
