The EU – Mercusur FTA is live
The European Union’s trade deal with South American bloc Mercosur provisionally enters into force today, May 1st.
The agreement creates one of the world’s biggest free-trade zones. Together, the EU and Mercosur account for 30% of global GDP and more than 700 million consumers.
