I have spent the last days in Washington D.C having meetings, negotians and discussions on how we can transform global trade.

It is time to go from re-thinking global trade to actually changing it. My meetings this week have comfirmed that it is not only possible but it will go faster than expected. The next part of the journey is starting now. Customs will play a major key role in this transformation driving digitalization and enabling smart borders.
A global, digital Product Passport for Goods is the future of trusted trade. By using a network solution to solve the network challenges of international trade is the way forward.
It is needed in a time of uncertainty. A different reporting model will eneable seamless trade across borders, and it will replace the tradional procedures at border we have seen to date.

We will have a new international trade model before the end of next year. Remember where you heard it first.
This is what we have been waiting for. Join the movement. Start preparing for your own product passport for goods.
