Gemini makes a difference

Vincent Clerc, CEO Maersk: ’One year into the Gemini cooperation, the impact is clear. We set out to bring real reliability back to the East–West trade, not as a headline, but as something customers can plan around every single week.
 
Reaching the ambition of 90% reliability matters because predictability has been in short supply in global logistics. When customers can trust the schedule, it changes how they run their supply chains. That’s what I’m most proud to see taking shape.

 It’s still early days. There’s more potential in this network and more performance to unlock as we continue strengthening how we serve customers.
 
This progress is built on a lot of consistent, behind-the-scenes work by seafarers, fleet operations, terminal teams, and colleagues throughout the organisation, alongside our partners across the industry.
