Autumn Hiking

This weekend we have done our autumn hike with the ’boys’, our 18 months old two dogs. We have had dogs all our life, but when we lost our last one, a Leonberger, seven years ago we took a break. we just lived her so mych that we couldn’t get another dog at the time.

Last summer we felt ready again and got two male puppies, a Welsh Springer Spaniel called Wallowas Weaping Willow, or Ossi as we call him – and an Irish Terrier called Cobolt of Cool, or Goliat, his fay/to-day name. from a Brexit perspective, a UK breed and an EU breed.

These two are now a part of our family and we love them do much.

We are hikers and this weekend we did our traditional hike, for the first time with the new dogs as companions.

In November every year we do a two day walk, in total approximately 40Ks, in my old territory, Österlen, in the South Eastern part of Sweden.

Igrew up and spent my first 18 years in Österlen and I truly love the landscape with its waste green fields and small hilly forrests.

Great weekend with good walks, a lots of fun, nice food and drinks in the evening and meeting interesting people on the way.
